While BEATLES FAUX SALE concentrates on the "early" (1962-1966) touring years of the Beatles’ music catalog, starting with the  British Quartet’s very first 1962 release, right up to and including their historic 1966 album, “REVOLVER” the band also includes a set of songs portrayed as the "later" Beatles (1967-1969).  During thiis set the band plays such hits as Hey Jude, Let It Be, Revolution, Get Back and other later Beatle hits and dresses in outfits similar to the Beatles' attire on the Abbey Road album cover.

"The idea was to keep it simple with three guitars and a drum kit…..once you go past the Revolver album you need to start bringing in a bunch of whiz-bang equipment that the Beatles may have used in the studio, but never performed with on a live stage. We wanted to duplicate a live Beatle’s show”, said Marty Trentacosta, who plays the part of Paul McCartney in BEATLES FAUX SALE.

"The only extra piece of gear we carry is a keyboard,  and we do not use any pre-recorded tracks during our show", said Ken Dziuba, who plays the part of John Lennon.  All of BEATLES FAUX SALE's music is performed LIVE by the four musicians in the band

BEATLES FAUX SALE came about as a deliberate effort from the band to more prominently feature the material, onstage fun, irreverent banter and style that made the Beatles an energetic visual experience.

Ken Dziuba as John Lennon

Like the Beatles’ great and innovative leader, Ken is an amazing sound-alike of John Lennon.  Ken has studied John Lennon’s writing, singing and playing in great depth; one might say, unprecedented detail!  On stage he might be seen playing a black Rickenbacker electric ¾ model 325, or a Gibson model J-160E acoustic guitar –both just like John’s – with resounding accuracy.  His singing voice is an accurate, spot-on impersonation of John Lennon’s.  He has studied every musical aspect the Beatles’ song catalog, arranges the band’s material and is a virtual encyclopedia on the Beatles' music.

Marty Trentacosta as Paul McCartney

Marty, a long time Beatles Tribute band bassist, is featured prominently in  BEATLES FAUX SALE.  Marty has made it his passion to study and work on the various tones, inflections and  characteristics that are unique to Paul McCartney’s vocal sound – with fantastic results – as you can hear in the audio and video samples on this web site.  In addition, Marty’s “on-stage” introductions, witty banter, and  speaking voice will have you believing you are truly listening to “Sir Paul” at a live Beatles concert in the mid-60’s!   A fascinating and authentic aspect of Marty’s portrayal of Paul McCartney is that he plays LEFT-HANDED bass guitar – like Paul – (despite his being a natural righty).  This is a feature NOT usually found in most other bands.

Len Carparelli as George Harrison

Len has performed and recorded professionally with many well known artists from the 1980s; most notably Joan Jett, Paul Shaffer from “David Letterman” and Stevie Nicks, under the stage name “LEN LEONARD”.  For his role as George Harrison in  BEATLES FAUX SALE Len took a step back to his roots to study the various and intricate guitar stylings of George Harrison.  Len’s natural ability and years of experience as a professional NYC session musician has been a great help to him in allowing him to master all of George’s parts, instrumentally AND vocally.

Greg Dziuba as Ringo Starr

Last, and certainly not least, is our very own “Ringo Starr”, Greg Dziuba.  Listening to Greg sing “Boys” or “I Wanna Be Your Man”, will tell you why every Beatles tribute band wishes they had Greg as their drummer.  No musician playing the role of Ringo sounds more like “Ringo” than Greg.  Greg’s vocal performances are a highlight in the band’s live shows and his drumming style is an exact duplication of Ringo Starr’s work with The Beatles.  Greg is arguably the best singing "Ringo" in the Beatle Tribute Band business.
